A Trip to Alexandria, Egypt

As a married stay at home mom, born and raised in Canada, I have now been afforded the opportunity of the lifetime to stay for three months in an intriguing coastal city alongside the Mediterranean Sea, the one and only Alexandria, Egypt.

My husband will drop me off (after staying only three weeks) at the end of May, and our family will stay until approximately the end of August. I may be staying with my mother in law — a very nice woman, by the way — and his father (also nice) and his sister O. (also nice).  Did I mention I don’t speak Arabic?  So I hope they are patient with me and the kids, who are aged 6, 4 and 2.  (Please do not leave comments detailing your concern over my apparent craziness of having three children so closely together.  Or the obvious stupidity of staying in a middle-eastern country for an extended period of time without knowing rudimentary Arabic.   I’m working on it, ok?  )
